Be careful when you put a baby caution when driving a car. "Babies who are in a seated position for too long will be very risky cause sudden death," said Dr. Aurore Cote of McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Canada.

The conclusion was obtained after Cote and colleagues, for 10 years researching infants who died from seated in the backseat of the car.



Of the total 409 infants who died without known cause, as much as 3% of the infants died while in a sitting position in the backseat of the car.

According to Cote, by comparing the level of oxygen in the blood of infants between sitting and lying positions, the baby may only be known to be in a position to sit no more than 1 hour. Over time, the baby's airway will be disrupted so that the contributing cause of death.
